"Boho Days" Soft Cover Journal

This little journal is just darling.  It is a soft cover journal and the cover is made by hand using various pieces and colors of recycled sari material.  There are purples, oranges, greens, pinks, and teals.  The seams where the pieces are sewn together are covered with a multi-colored boho type braided trim.  There is a Name Plate on the front that says "Boho Days" and a handmade dangle is clipped to the top corner using a bulb pink  There is also a piece of ribbon on the book as an embellishment as well.  The cover and all the trims are slow-stitched to the cover in a gold metallic thread as well.  The inside cover is a white cotton fabric that has been ink dyed in the same colors as the sari silk pieces of the front.  There are 2 small flowers made using the boho trim from the front as well.  The only adornment on the back cover is the number plate with my signature.  There are 19 pages in the book.  With there being 4 sides on each sheet, that gives a total of approximately 76 pages.  There are pockets , tags, ribbons, lace, and other ephemera through out the journal.  The outside of the journal measures 9 1/4" x 6 1/4".  It is tied with a piece of dyed gauze fabric for the closure on the outside which will allow a little growth room in the journal and there is a very colorful ribbon and fiber spine dangle hanging down the spine.  The spine dangle is attached with a bulb pin in case you would like to move the dangle to another area or remove it all together.  I have used several other digitals and materials in the book including:  Luise Heinzl--Junk Journal Art on youTube, Tim Holtz papers, and ribbons and lace from Sheila at Bohodaydreams on youTube.
