This journal is a travel journal. It is much more narrow than a regular journal so that it can be easily slipped in a travel bag or a purse. This little journal measures approximately 4" wide by 8 1/2" tall. The front and back is decorated with a single sheet of paper that is adorned with light blue, dark blue, yellow, and orange flowers and is stitched on all sides with a yellow zig-zag stitch. A piece of white lace is attached to the spine to add more strength. The closure is a blue, yellow (it looks orange in the picture, but it is yellow), and cream recycled sari silk that can be tied, untied, and widened to make more room for all the goodies you put in. Both the front inside cover and the back inside cover have a pocket and tag to allow some journaling space and maybe a picture or ticket from your travels. The pages inside are various kinds of paper including lined paper, coffee dyed paper, accountant paper, decorative paper, music paper, graph paper, and many others. Each book has 30 pages of paper which will give you 60 sides for ephemera. Each book has 2 pockets and 2 tags as mentioned above. Each book also contains 2 charms--this one has a dragonfly and a flower with a blue rhinestone in the center, 2 paperclips, and 2 bulldog clips. There is minimal embellishing to allow you to decorate and make this precious little journal your own.
