This journal is just as cute as can be. The picture does not do it justice. The purple paper and embellishments are a deep rich purple. The journal itself is yellow--you can see the strip of yellow under the spiral ring. The front cover has a tag at the top that says, "Dreams" and one at the bottom that says, "Wishes". There are three other permanent tags in between--one has a star, one has a dandelion, and the last one has a quote. There is a small pocket with dreams, wishes, and sparkle coming out the top. The spiral is adorned with a small tassel that contains ribbons of yellow, purple, red, and pink. The inside front and back covers are the original yellow color with purple quote tags attached. The back cover also has the original yellow color with a nice purple tag near the bottom. The pages are yellow, have lines, and yellow leaves and flowers at the top of each page. This little book would be a perfect "first journal" for a special teenage girl in your life. The book measures approximately 5 1/4" wide by 8 1/2" tall.
